Accepted into one of venture capital's most selective fellowship programmes globally. VC Lab's Venture Institute is completely free despite the sheer depth of resources, structure and senior talent invested. I kept asking: what is the catch? Then I read the Mensarius Oath again slowly and properly and it clicked. This was not generosity for optics. It was a deliberate attempt to change the face of venture capital for good by ethically raising the bar and democratising access without compromising quality. I signed the Mensarius Oath — a code binding investors to act as stewards of a better future and not just financiers. Two weeks into the programme it has been intense, pragmatic and deeply rewarding. You learn the theory today and tomorrow you are applying it. No abstractions, no hiding, just judgment under uncertainty — the real work of venture capital.
